Toronto Blue Jays’ Hyun-jin Ryu’s second rehab start will be a step up.
Speaking to local media outlets such as Sportsnet ahead of the team’s game against the Detroit Tigers on Sunday (Aug. 8), Toronto manager John Schneider said that Hyun-jin Ryu will make his second rehab start in the Florida State League on Sunday (Aug. 10).
After pitching three innings in the Florida Complex League on the fifth, Ryu will move up to Single-A this time.
He will take the mound for the Dunedin Blue Jays against the Tampa Bay Rays (affiliated with the New York Yankees) at 12 p.m. local time (1 a.m. ET on Sept. 9) at TD Ballpark in Dunedin, Florida, USA.카지노사이트
TD Ballpark is also Toronto’s spring training home. In his last start, he was in a familiar setting.
After throwing three innings of four-hit ball with five strikeouts and one earned run in his first start, Ryu will aim to increase his pitch count and innings pitched in this outing.
Ryu underwent Tommy John surgery last year and is rehabbing with the goal of returning later this season.
