The possibility of Sadio Mane (31, Bayern Munich) returning to Liverpool after a year has been raised.
Britain’s Give Me Sports reported, “Mane, who left Anfield just before the start of this season, may return to Liverpool after just one season.”
Mane built a trio of so-called ‘wives’ with Roberto Firmino and Mohamed Salah, leading Liverpool to their prime. After the end of last season, he signed a contract with Munich until June 30, 2025 and transferred.
Mane has scored 12 goals and provided 5 assists in 34 official matches this season. He’s been cruising pretty well in the aftermath of his injury, but he’s had trouble off the pitch.먹튀검증
Munich lost 0-3 to Manchester City in the first leg of the Champions League quarterfinals on the 12th. Mane slapped Leroy Sane in the face in the locker room. As his colleagues watched, the shocking thing happened. Afterwards, Mane was branded as an assaulter and was fined a huge amount of 350,000 euros (500 million won) by the club. Release rumors arose.
Reporter Dean Jones, who is well-versed in the European transfer market, pointed out through the media, “The reason why it is difficult for Liverpool to qualify for the Champions League this season is that they missed Mane.”
Reporter Ryan Taylor of the Daily Express said: “If Mane is kicked out of Munich, he will return to Liverpool. He was confident of returning.
“He has a great story and had a happy time at Liverpool. If you stay here, a statue will be erected. However, he is just a new player in Munich or FC Barcelona,” he pointed out. “Indispensable for Jurgen Klopp’s Liverpool, but only one player in Munich.”
Mane scored 120 goals and 48 assists in 269 official matches for Liverpool. He won the top scorer in the 2018/2019 season and topped all the Champions League, Premier League and cup competitions.
