Lee Yong-joon (21), a right-handed pitcher born in 2002 of the NC Dinos, showed a decent pitch in his second start this season.

Lee Yong-jun started an away game against the LG Twins in the 2023 professional baseball KBO League held at Jamsil Baseball Stadium in Seoul on the 18th and threw 89 balls and blocked 4 innings with 3 hits, 3 walks, 4 strikeouts and 2 runs.

Lee Yong-jun, who debuted as a pro in 2021 and failed to win a win until last year, is showing more mature pitching this year. On the 6th, against the Doosan Bears, he made a relief mound in the top of the 4th inning and blocked 3.2 innings with no runs, and on the 12th, against the home KT Wiz, he achieved his first win in his debut with a good pitching of 5 innings and 1 run.먹튀검증

Before the match, NC coach Kang In-kwon encouraged him, saying, “The LG lineup is good, but I believe that if you pitch a little more aggressively, you will do your part.”

As if to live up to the command tower’s belief, Lee Yong-joon took stable pitching in the early part of the game, but faltered in the top of the 3rd inning and gave up 2 runs. However, NC made a tie in the attack in the top of the 5th inning and escaped from the crisis of losing the first game of the season.

Lee Yong-jun showed off his good condition at the beginning of the game. He struck out Hong Chang-ki and Moon Seong-joo, respectively, and knocked out. He then got a heavy hit from Kim Hyun-soo, but ended the inning easily by leading Austin Dean to a fly in left field. In the bottom of the second inning, Moon Bo-gyeong (second baseman straight hit), Kim Min-seong (third baseman grounder), and Park Dong-won (shortstop grounder) were put to rest one after another, making his first tripartite inning of the day.

But the 3rd inning was disappointing. The walk was the cause. After giving a walk to Seo Geon-chang, Park Hae-min hit a double that fell to the right side of the right fielder and was driven to second and third base safely. In the end, Lee Yong-jun led Hong Chang-ki to a shortstop grounder, but in the meantime, he had to watch third base runner Seo Geon-chang step on the home plate. Moon Seong-joo was also allowed a sacrifice fly to left field, and his earned run increased to 2 points.

Afterwards, Lee Yong-jun gave up a double to Kim Hyeon-soo and then walked to Austin, ending up with two outs on 1st and 2nd base, but he struck out Bo-kyung Moon and did not give up any additional runs.

Entering the bottom of the 4th inning, Lee Yong-jun found stability. He put the lead batter Kim Min-seong to sleep with a fly in left field. Then, Park Dong-won was allowed a walk, but Seo Kun-chang and Park Hae-min were treated as fly and strikeout in right field, respectively, and ended the inning.

However, because he threw a lot of pitches in the bottom of the third inning, Lee Yong-jun’s number of pitches reached 89 before he knew it. Eventually, the NC bench replaced the pitcher with left-hander Ha Jun-young at the start of the bottom of the 5th inning.
