Kim Min-jae (27)’s defensive partner Amir Rahmani (29, Napoli) has signed a long-term contract with SSC Napoli.
SSC Napoli announced through the club’s official website on June 27 (KST), “The club has reached an agreement with central defender Amir Rahmani to renew his contract until June 30, 2027. The deal includes an option for the club and Rahmani to extend the contract by one year until June 2028,” the club announced on its official website.
Rahmani is a central defender who, alongside Kim Min-jae, is the backbone of Napoli’s defense and has made 34 appearances in all competitions this season, including 27 in the league.

Rahmani is also known to be close to Kim Min-Jae, who has recently been linked with a move to Manchester United, and in January he said, “Kim Min-Jae is a really strong player. He’s doing a great job. He knows exactly what the manager wants and he fits in perfectly with our football,” Rahmani said in January.
