Soccer player Gareth Vale (Wales) will participate in the AT&T Pebble Beach Pro-Am (total prize money of 9 million dollars) of the American Professional Golf (PGA) Tour to be held in February.

On the 24th (Korean time), Bale announced the news by posting on his personal SNS, “I’m happy to play at the AT&T Pebble Beach Pro-Am, which will be held early next month. Let’s go.”

The PGA Tour AT&T Pebble Beach Pro-Am Tournament, which will be held at Pebble Beach Golf Links in California from February 3, is a tournament in which 156 professional golfers and 156 amateurs compete in pairs. Bale will be playing as an amateur. 먹튀검증

Bale, who played for Tottenham Hotspur and Real Madrid, announced his retirement as a soccer player on the 10th. He also competed in the 2022 World Cup in Qatar as a member of the Welsh national team.

Bale’s love of golf is well known. He also hosted the DP World Tour Kaju Open held in August of last year. On the day Bale announced his retirement, the DP World Tour even cheered him on by posting a video of Bale playing golf, saying ‘enjoy your retirement’.

Bale is known to have a handicap of 2-3 as of 2022. The British Daily Mail said, “Vale, who has a low handicap, is known to be willing to devote himself to golf activities after his retirement.”

Even when he was injured during his past Real Madrid days, he never missed a game of golf. In 2019, he confessed that he preferred to represent his country and play golf rather than play for the team, and he was criticized by fans.

Attention is focusing on whether Bale, who is serious about golf, will be able to play on the world’s best stage in the golf world.

Meanwhile, American football player Green Bay Packers’ quarterback Aaron Rogers, actor Jason Bateman, and rapper Macklemore are scheduled to compete at AT&T Pebble Beach.
