It is noteworthy that 14 out of 32 tournaments with prize money of over 1 billion won accounted for 43% of the total. The total prize money of 1.2 billion won or more exceeded 28% of all competitions with nine competitions.

This year, 19 competitions have been held consistently for more than 10 times, well over half of them. The tradition and authority of the KLPGA tour is growing as more and more sponsors continue to host the tournament.

The KLPGA Tour 2023 season announced the opening in December of last year with a new tournament, the ‘Hana Financial Group Singapore Women’s Open’, and the ‘PLK Pacific Rings Korea Championship’ was held as the second tournament in Vietnam. ‘Lotte Rental Women’s Open’, the opening match in Korea, will be held in the first week of April.
